The First Bookstore of its Kind in Wharton

Established in November 2025, the goal of the White Rabbit is to bring the love of reading to the masses, curate oddities, and create a community space for game nights, book signings, clubs, dungeons and dragons, and more. This is more than a bookstore - we sell candles, trinkets, oddities, blind dates with books, baked goods, shirts, art, photography, stickers, bookmarks, pinned insects, loose leaf tea, comics, and more.

    Saturday, April 11th 2-5:30 PM
    Join us for our first D&D event.
    Enter a dramatic, story-driven D&D campaign. Start at Level 3—bring a character or create one on arrival. Rules bend… if it makes the story better.

  • Sunday Sleuths: A True Crime Discussion Group

    First Sunday of the Month 1-3 PM
    April's meeting will be on the 12th due to Easter. The case: the Texas Killing Fields.
    Join our group as we discuss an unsolved case every month. Be ready to go down the rabbit hole.

  • Dungeons & Dragons

    Saturday, April 18th 2-5:00 PM
    Join us for an Intro to D&D event.
    Enter a dramatic, story-driven D&D campaign. Start at level 1 and the Dungeon Master can provide everything needed - just show up ready to play and learn.

  • Unsolved Case Files Game Night

    Saturday, April 18th 6-9PM
    An interactive true, crime style experience where you'll work through clues and evidence to solve a case.
    Solve the case in small teams (come with friends, a partner, or solo) and light snacks and drinks provided.

  • Magic: the Gathering

    Sunday, April 22nd 1-3:30 PM
    Cast spells, summon creatures, and battle for glory. Join us for a day of magic. All skill levels welcome.

  • Shut Up & Write

    Every Saturday 11 AM to 1 PM
    Show up, shut up, and write. Bring whatever you've been working on (or NOT working on) and enjoy a dedicated work space to finish. Talk with fellow writers afterward to work through writers block.

  • National Bookstore Day Party

    Saturday, April 25th
    Swing by anytime during the day to celebrate National Bookstore Day with drinks, games, and prizes.
